it is almost impossible to not use AI as an engineer these days, but I manage by prompting Cursor to use self deprecating language and honestly it’s a great time
I am curious about the long term effects of being verbally abusive to AI chat bots. I regularly take my aggression out on them. previously I would trash talk myself for not being able to solve a problem so overall it feels like a net positive.
for some reason, spent some time trying to create a chrome extension to filter out much of the stuff I don't want to see on instagram. quickly realized the futility in that because I kinda don't want to see any of it. the only solution seems to be a mass unfollow of anyone popular.

my productivity hack is to write down whatever you want to do on a piece of cardboard in permanent marker and post it to the wall. it feels so satisfying to cross things off. if you can possibly write directly onto the wall that's even better.
