SaGaCon was this last weekend. For a first year show with first time organizers it was pretty damn good. Growing pains, of course, but for the most part folks had a great time, myself included! I love that more local conventions are popping up. Communities grow stronger this way.
So proud of what we did with Griot Anthology, and so happy to spread the work of all the designers and artists in it to others; messages like this make it so worth it.
I need to go set up for SaGaCon ... but ... but sitting here is soooo much better than working ... *le sigh* OK fine. Off to the nerd mines I go!

Good chance I mentioned the teeth initially... but we played a version today and it was really fun! The idea is formed and just a few tiny bits need refinement - I can't wait to see this finished. Both Quinn and I practiced just listening to feedback, which is harder than it sounds!

Today me and my wife playstormed the first iteration of a semi-competitive RPG where you play tooth fairy hooligans trying to collect the most teeth.
When people ask about my favorite part of conventions and the con scene I always have the same answer, community. I met @gamefiend.bsky.social this afternoon. More new friends who also happen to be local! Now to plan a games day...
