There’s a way to get the Jays radio commentary. Pause the game, above the play line on the right hand side of the screen- press the button to the right of CC (the “sound bar”). It will give you the choice of “local radio”

So tired of #BlueJays fans talking about Vladdy like he is a terrible player. He is having a poor season. He has said as much. It happens. That’s baseball. He took the Jays to the World Series last year, and I have no doubt he will lead them to more playoff wins down the road. Hopefully, a Series.

One of my favourite SF novels is @greatdismal.bsky.social ‘s #Neuromancer. It is still the best of the best when it comes to cyberpunk, and would be on my Mount Rushmore of SF. Apple TV has been so good at adapting SF (e.g., Silo, Dark Matter), so I have high hopes for this adaptation.

It hasn’t looked great in the first half, but to hear the way some #BlueJays fans talk about this team, you’d think the Jays were the 2024 White Sox rather than a team currently sitting in a playoff spot. Yes, the AL is bad right now, but the Jays are gonna’ be fine.
