Kitchen floor vent cover replacement. Earlier in the week I ripped and cut five interlocking boards. Today I cut out the ragged floor bits, added supports, stuffed 10” insulation into the recesses then popped the boards into place after refining the ends a bit. Now it’s solid and insulated!
Last night I tested out a lightly used Shattered FX Carver mask I bought. Snug fit, very eerie, quite photogenic! I'm not usually into gore or bloody splatter effects, but with a little repaint I can subtly reduce the grue while retaining the splotchy look. I'll have to ponder the approach!
Also this arrived this morning! Shattered FX Carver bought used, in excellent shape and is really snug. Already have a full look for him, will get better pics soon!

Before/after yesterday’s 2 hour weeding next to the service road. My lower back aches and there is some stuff to wrap up but the worst of it is over with. I really can’t let a repeat of this happen next year, something has to be planted that I’ll want to see grow.
Saw this cart next to a dumpster, now it is mine. Aside from a crack on top it is solid and more than suitable for outdoor yardwork. Lots of bricks and concrete chunks to move around!

Before and after pics of yesterday's backyard weeding. 3.5 hours picking up where I left off a month ago. I can walk across my yard now! Still several areas like under the porch and near the back fence to work on. The service road area I won't touch til autumn, likely will burn and reboot that mess.
Now waiting to see Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, my third film outing in two days, holy cow! So dark and quiet in here.
Waiting patiently for Buddy to begin. Second theater experience today after Coyote vs. Acme this afternoon. Tomorrow we’ll see Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, so three in one weekend? Inconceivable!
Stopped by a local park after dinner to walk around. Nice sunset colors and clouds. I’ll have to come back again and explore some more.
Coyote vs. Acme is great! It also feels way more fitting for our current times, a far sweeter release. Very happy to see it on the big screen, go check it out!
I did the dogging around last night and this early afternoon. Old pup mask found in a box of masks @hoodedjustice.bsky.social had been gifted. I can kind of see the allure of pup play now, but honestly the latex smell is what really got me going. I do see other dog mask projects in my future!
