I had 100 Ornithopters in the open play area at Cube Con and looking through the cube after the weekend to see the 3-0 alters I was heartbroken to find that someone drew OVER @klugalters.bsky.social's incredible Ornithopter. I assume someone thought it was just a different printing of the card? 😭😭😭

In parallel with the announcement yesterday, the Cube Format Panel (me) is excited to announce the Beta for the Cube Bracket system! This definitely rigorous and thoughtful structure is meant to classify a different kind of Cube experience.

Cubecon, day 4: playtesting Nick's custom Adventure Time cube! Went 2-1. Cube felt very cohesive and well designed! My main recommendation was to either make it more like a cube or more like a retail limited environment--it's in a bit of an in between state right now.
