Earlier this year we expanded our operations team with Becca Arruda and Phoebe Wong! Becca comes to us from Janelia and the King lab at UC Berkeley with experience as a scientist and lab manager. Phoebe supports day-to-day operations in the lab and office, having previously ran retail stores.

We welcome Madelynn Isbrecht to the @E11BIO team as Research Associate! Madelynn earned her BS in Neuroscience from University of Michigan, where she worked in Dawen Cai's lab on tissue clearing, hydrogels, immunostaining, and advanced microscopy.
Welcoming Jeff Rhoades to the team as our newest Machine Learning Scientist! Jeff did his PhD at Harvard studying cerebellar circuits using electron microscopy and ML–based segmentation. He contributed to the connectome of the mouse cerebellar cortex and then joined Janelia on the CellMap project.
Earlier this year, we welcome two stellar scientists to the E11 team! Andrew Champion is a computational neuroscientist with background in image processing, machine learning, high performance computing, etc. He was previously at Janelia where he contributed to several fly connectome datasets. 1/2
