It is so nice when you get reviewers' comments back and the suggestions are so spot on and fantastic that I'm actually excited to add to the manuscript what they're asking for. Thank you, whoever you are!

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.

I do remember that as a child I found the film very unsettling because I thought it was unfair and hard on the little mouse. I don't remember the plot, only how it made me feel.

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life
