I fundamentally do not know how to square the politics whereby Democrats will essentially have to tell the American people that because they (the voters) made an extremely stupid decision, they need to lower their expectations substantially for the foreseeable future, but here we are.
Everyone here understands that Paxton is a crook. A lot of republicans are upset, feel like Cornyn was run out of town because Trump wanted Paxton. While there are plenty of Trump lovers here, a lot of people are upset about the Iran war and the price of everything. Lots of republicans staying home.
Boutros has responded by suggesting that the gross misconduct that came to light in the Broadview 6 case predated his tenure, and therefore Trump. An interesting defense, shall we say.

Speaker Mike Johnson was the dean of a law school named after a pedophile. He has no qualms about other people’s immorality as long as it doesn’t interfere with his ambition.

I wanted Tom Steyer to be in the Governor's race, but he's not so I'm gonna vote for Becerra. I don't follow his campaign at all: I'm voting for him because he's not a Republican.

Capital One closed over 300 tRump accounts due to strong suspicions of money laundering activity. Instead of looking closer into this matter, the U.S. completely ignores it.
This is coming for all Senate seats. We need to unite and remember who the real adversary is. Flipping the Senate is possible. And it’s many seats in play. It isn’t up to or down to any one seat.
