I broke down and bought some protein shakes. I lasted a week. I might have eaten once a day. Then trying to figure out what I want to eat. Then never mind the whole eating experience altogether.

Ion know. I felt a little defeated yesterday. I lost over a degree technicality. lol. I was sad in private.
I just remember where I came from and how hard it was for me to even get my foot in the door. But also making sure I’m making the right decision on the chances I make.
We all started somewhere. We didn’t wake up in these executive positions. And I’m the only one inclined to take a chance on someone than my peers. But I will absolutely tell the new hire, don’t you make me look bad.
Now I could be wrong. Maybe these people get to a job and everybody got them fucked up. But I’m very straight to the point in most interviews unless you’re my 4 person of the day. Imma shoot the shit and hope you’re have something to brag to me about.
Other thing was work history and people who never had any tenure at their previous companies. So anything less than a year. I’m in the room arguing that the job market is shot to shit. People are getting work where they can. Companies been laying off since the Trump administration
I had arguments yesterday about me wanting to hire someone with out a degree. And we all went back and forth about it.
Normally, I’d say degrees don’t matter. I’d take experience over a degree. I also don’t think a certification trumps a degree in any way.
