Disabled artist, sewist, and computer scientist. Chaos abounds.

From the developers of (a cheap looking action game), SURPRISING NO ONE is a post-apocalyptic 4X strategy game, with a hot girl on the marketing materials. Inspired by the less interesting works of H.R. Giger, you'll make morally ambiguous choices in the vain hopes of a cutscene with the hot girl.

I just got laid off after 6 and a half years at my job. I am extremely fucked up and scared about what’s going to happen to me. If anyone has leads on data analyst, database admin, data entry, or other such jobs in the Seattle area (or remote), please send them my way. I would super appreciate it.

When your views are too toxic to still be marketable to the general public, you've generally only got two options: Start a podcast (though you'd better have something better to sell than yourself), or Sky News Australia. #auspol

I had to explain the whole reflecting pool fiasco to my wife. But you know, folks? Greek mythtellers would have *loved* this shit: "Narcissist enraged by reflecting pool" "Disappointed by a temporary colour change before a festival, a comedy of errors ensues."

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REFLECT AT THE REFLECTING POOL. THE REFLECTING POOL IS FORBIDDEN. DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THE HOODED FIGURES. DO NOT QUESTION THE PRESENCE OF SOLDIERS. DO NOT REFLECT AT THE REFLECTING POOL. PERFORM NO TOURISM AT THIS TOURIST DESTINATION.

“Loitering is not permitted in this area. Please proceed to a designated location. Thank you for your cooperation,” a surveillance machine tells a small cluster of National Guard members as they patrol the fenced off Reflecting Pool in the rain.

When I was, oh... 14 years old, I think. I went to see Lysistrata (or at least a fairly faithful adaption of Aristophanes' work) at the La Boite Theatre in Brisbane. Now, the thing to remember in this story is that I *looked* 18+, but I was only 14.

I bet Angus thinks this is a great idea. Permanent Residents contribute significantly to the economy, relatively speaking, and contribute to taxes and the budget. But they don't vote - so they feel safe in giving them the second-class treatment. #auspol

Take a deep breath. Then count to ten. Done? Right. Australia's wealthiest got about $5000-$6000 richer while you were counting to 10. Up to $600 per second, every second of every day of every year. #auspol

I do not consider it even remotely controversial that when it comes to the colour of your skin, or the country you were born in - neither of these things makes you in any way inferior or superior to anyone else. To assume that they do is the very definition of prejudice. #auspol

I saw a mention in a recent article. Apparently the economic return on every dollar spent on the NDIS is down from $50 to a little under $3 now. That still makes it an effective government spending programme, but shows how much successive cuts have blunted its economic impact.

We have several special needs animals in the rescue, but Simba was NOT who i was expecting to get adopted today 😂 Someone needs to adopt Ron, though. He's been with us a long time, and the only thing special abt him is mild CH! 5yo neutered male, loves other low energy cats & kids 🧡🤍 (Guthrie, OK)
