WOW. The ex-wife of the ICE officer who shot a 26-year-old Colombian man in Maine has come forward to say that he had mental health issues and was abusive in their relationship. She says after the shooting he called asking her to vouch for him — instead, she went to the press.

Ashley Brouillette told the Portland Press Herald in a phone interview Thursday afternoon that her ex-husband called admitting to the shooting and defending his actions. The Press Herald reviewed a screenshot of incoming calls Ashley Brouillette received from her ex-husband’s current wife’s Facebook account on Wednesday.

“He was asking me to lie for him and to cover for his character,” Ashley Brouillette said. “I told him that I was not going to lie for him. And then he tried to say that it was a justified shooting because the guy tried to hit him with his car.”

She said she has seen videos of Brouillette on the scene of the shooting and confirmed that was him on scene, telling him: “nowhere in there does it show that this man charged at you with a car.”

“In his head it’s justified. He’s unusually calm about it,” she said.Ashley Brouillette told a reporter that she wanted to speak publicly because she had previously reported concerns to his superiors in the military about his mental health. She said he was abusive in their relationship. She said that she’s been inundated with calls, since reports of Brouillette’s involvement began circulating online, threatening her and her family.

In 2024, Bill Pulte, the acting Director of National Intelligence received a trophy declaring he “fu¢ks only the young” at a bizarre event focused on dildos. He organized this to promote his conspiracy theory that Bed Bath & Beyond never actually went bankrupt. Only the best people, amirite?

Water this dirty should never be treated like a secret. Texans have the right to speak up when something looks wrong in their community without fearing intimidation or arrest. We need clean water, transparency, and leaders willing to stand with people over the Greedy Few.

A graphic featuring a screenshot of a bathtub filled with murky brown water covered in patches of white foam. At the top is a headline from The Dallas Morning News that reads: “North Texas woman sues town after arrest over Facebook post about water quality.” The image highlights concerns about contaminated or unsafe water conditions.

Jim Acosta just trashed Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld for gloating over a photo of the staff of Colbert Show - dozens of people. "You are celebrating the fact that all of these people are losing their jobs. All because your dear leader can’t take a joke. Seriously, wtf is wrong with you,"...

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche admitted that the DOJ excluded all images showing “death, physical abuse, or injury” from the Epstein files release. DEATH? The truth is probably far worse than anyone can imagine. Blanche needs to be prosecuted as well.

I have a father and mother in law in Iran. I have a sister in law. A niece. She's 14. She likes silly pink headbands and purses and dresses, just like kids her age all over the world. There are 93 million people like her in Iran. People who do all the normal mundane life things as the rest of us.

If you think No Kings is too vague or insufficiently radical, I sincerely encourage you to go to your local No Kings rally tomorrow and hand out flyers/zines to recruit folks to your org/cause. It's a perfect recruitment event! Thousands of people eager to DO STUFF! Get out there!
