A big caution about the Hinojosa numbers: Talarico is benefitting from 12% of his voters being ticket-splitters. That seems *wild* to me, personally, but it does suggest that Paxton has a uniquely repellent profile. GOP is suffering in general, but not as much as Paxton. /4

It’s early yet and for sure the republicans have the bully pulpit (and a lot of democratic silent support) but ”socialist” and “communist“ doesn’t seem to be whipping up a real frenzy. Interested in what others see out there. It’s just as likely that they are going to Streisand effect socialism.

There should be some kind of law that you can’t have a flight that boards before the first coffee shop opens in the terminal.

Immigration was about the only issue left where Rs had a polling edge. Not anymore.
