on the World Cup final : I find the discourse about this Spain side playing "the most boring soccer ever" a bit much. like they're way more watchable than the Del Bosque teams. Not their fault than their two best attacking players were unfit all tournament

imo argentina has been wiping players out in that situation all game, embolo tried to preempt it and even stuck his leg out and made contact. it's a dive, but it's also the result of the referee letting argentina clatter into swiss players without punishment.
