I do think a huge aspect from working from home that can often lead to issues is that it puts socialization in the workers hands. On one hand, that does mean you can be more selective on who you interact with. On the other hand, it put more onus on you to actully do the work of building community.

Conover is catching hell for this in the comments but he’s not wrong about a lot of it, particularly the union angle youtu.be/GnHyKckbwIw?...

Every time Jimmy Fallon does one of those things where he has the cast of a thing stare directly at you and say their names and the plot set to a beat, I feel pray instinct, like they’re gonna hunt me for sport.

My in-laws have a cape cod house, and I am considering becoming a cape cod republican, which is a republican that is only a republican in cape cod. Idk what this would entail but it’s pretty clear republicans are having more fun down here then anyone else

My local library got an update on their hold processing system that’s just fucked the whole thing up. As someone who know his job will be fucked up when it eventually gets rid of the ancient system used to process orders, it’s incredibly relatable.

The real tragedy of the new Lego Batman game is that is scratches an itch that the Arkham games really fulfilled, and I know rocksteady is too on something to ever make that kind of game again.

I know that for the most part we as a culture have already made enough arguments about why Supersize Me sucked, but the final nail in the coffin is that the most hated man in the world canonically eats McDonald’s for every meal for years and that’s not the main thing wrong with him.

I think the next season of The Worst Idea Of All Time could either be able the Animal Farm movie to see if they are more or less left wing after having to watch it so much, or the Melania Move where each time they have to sneak into the White House for a full watch through on their phones.

@mayor.nyc.gov I am challenging you to Mario kart. I will be in New York City from 6/13-6/15 for a 56 hour improv comedy festival. This isn’t political, I just think it would be neat to beat the mayor of New York, or frankly any mayor, in Mario Kart.

A combination of morbid curiosity and a desire to someday do a Homestuck Made This World style podcast about the series has lead to me getting a ticket to a showing of The Amazing Digital Circus Movie.

I’ve been considering writing a one man show to star in, but I literally had a nightmare last night that I had written a big role for myself in a play and the stress of the dream was”why the fuck did I write myself so many lines” This might be a sign

My thoughts go out to anyone at Easter dinner who has to explain the Kristi Noam husband thing without making their family more transphobic or having to explain what a bimbofication fetish is.

Last time I was a PAX East I saw someone with in a cosplay that was a mashup of madalorian armor, Jedi stuff, and a keyblade. It was cool, but it also made me think wow, this is a character that had fallen for the same religious army trick three different times
