I still struggle with what kind of designs to make for merch... And before anyone mentions, I don't feel comfortable using Spider-Punk as merch. It's not my IP, and I'm not willing to risk getting nuked with a cease and desist (at best). Despite other artists willing to take those chances

"Branding" gets really tough when you feel girlypop one week and cyberpunk baddie the next. I'm currently sticking to the cyberpunk aesthetic. But every now and then I'm tempted to throw it all away and make stuff sparkly, with flowers and hearts I'd love to not be a chaotic creature just for once

One of the things I learn again and again being an artist in creative spaces is that it isn't about who has the best *ideas* or *ability*, it's all about who actually is able to pull through and make the thing. Even if someone else *could* make it better. Even if someone else had the *idea* first. 🧵

I might've been overcomplicating things in my head ... I've been making this huge deal about a stream scene, and I literally just opened a canvas, started doodling a bit and I'm like 90% done after about 30 minutes

My IG algorithm has caught on to the fact that I'm (slightly) obsessed with Spidey... And showed me someone who made a spider web style poncho, and now I wanna design a cottage core Spidey ... Because that both sounds like it shouldn't work, and be rad at the same time

I am slowly going through my stream assets, and the thing I'm still most proud of is that I made a automated system that showcases my last played games on Twitch (or more specifically the categories), to showcase in my just chatting screen. I need to think of more fun creative stuff like that

Reasons why I have my commissions closed: - I get insecure drawing for money. - I don't have time. - I have enough money to sustain myself. Reasons why I have my commissions open: - I need money, or else the government is gonna get my ass. *This is meant as a funny, and only reflects on half of it

Artists! I'm the DPI fairy here to tell you that DPI only matters if you are A: defining your canvas in physical dimensions, or B: printing. For A, your pixel resolution is the DPI number multiplied by the dimensions. A square 12 inch image at 300 DPI will have a resolution of 3600px by 3600px.
