Callin enjoys puzzles, so he'll take the time to solve it. He doesn't want hints, he'll get it on his own. Aravel isn't great at them, as he doesn't have a whole lot of patience when he wants to get to the task at hand. In cases like Mythal's temple, he'll take the time. It's worth it there.

in other news I'm slowly putting together a tiny stage for T'kiya's apartment, this is one of those tiny theaters that seats like 10 people. very exclusive. the oubliette was a silly idea that didn't exactly work (was gonna be a central pillar)

the new medicaid ruling (meaning anyone on it must work 80 hours a month regardless of ability) particularly sucks because I WANT a job. I WANT TO WORK. But I'm not able to get a job and get work despite my willingness and ability so fuck me as well as anyone who can't work

also I restarted Wagotabi after getting it on Steam and it's been a pleasure being able to get through the opening stuff fast, like omg I actually do remember the hiragana and basic phrases and stuff, maybe I actually am retaining this after all these years

I am so enjoying Coral Island, man. Getting further in the ocean is great, unlocking more of the fast travel points, actually feeling like I'm making progress. And it's so cute. I feel the Stardew/Animal Crossing vibes, especially since I just got a coop and chicken and expanded the museum.
