When I went for a walk earlier this morning, I encountered a rather friendly looking cat who rubbed up against my pant leg. Now that I'm home, Nanna is rubbing up against the same spot on my pant leg. I think she smells the scent of the other cat, and is reclaiming me. 🤣

Disabled people have the right to exist even if we can’t work. To believe we don’t have that right is eugenics and ableism.
When I was out for a walk today, a black cat crossed my path. A superstitious person would have screamed, and run away. A realist would have concluded that the cat is going somewhere. And then there's me, who gasped, went "Kitty!" then knelt down, and started petting it.
The idea that you *must* coexist with and listen to people who are cruel, unjust, and just plain unpleasant to be around is the logic of abusers, by the way
