South Carolina, we can be proud of these numbers. For a primary election, the previous high water mark was 23,134 votes in a single day, statewide. We topped that record every single day in 2026. SC voters are fired up! Solid work Palmetto State 💪

Andy Beshear is right. Southern Democrats win when we stop sounding like Washington and start talking like our neighbors. Families. Jobs. Schools. Public safety. The American Dream. Speak plainly. Show up everywhere. Get things done.

South Carolina prides itself on our independence yet polticatians in Columbia are ready to roll over and surrender our elections to Washington, D.C. Vote early Tuesday, May 26. Use your vote as an act of defiance. South Carolina does not take orders from Washington, D.C. ✊️

#SOUTHCAROLINA! Early voting begins on Tuesday at 8:30! You MUST MUST MUST get to the polls first thing and vote. Our democracy is on the line. The more people that vote before the Senate goes back into session at 11:00, the harder it will be for them to gerrymander us. VOTE EARLY !

Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be called into special session over Memorial Day weekend & have to argue that military members & their spouses deserve to have their votes counted after they already cast their ballots. But here we are. Join the fight by voting early on Tuesday.

People keep asking what they can do to help in this redistricting fight. The answer is simple: VOTE! Early voting starts Tuesday, May 26 at 8:30 AM. The Senate cannot reconvene until 11 AM that day. That gives South Carolinians a real window to make their voices heard!

If a service member follows the rules, votes from overseas, and sends their ballot back, their vote should count. Period. “Thank you for your service” means nothing if we are willing to throw out their vote.

Heartbroken by news of yet another senseless act of violence this morning at a house of worship. No American should ever fear for their safety - least of all when gathering peacefully to pray - and yet tragedies like this have become frequent.

Hurricane season is no time for political theater. Sending 200 SC National Guard troops to DC for a non-emergency is reckless. Our Guard should be on standby for real disasters at home, not deployed for partisan optics. SC deserve better. www.postandcourier.com/opinion/edit...

Editorial: This is not the time of year to send SC National Guard to non-emergencies

Hurricane season is at its peak, and SC governor deployed 200 National Guard troops to aid Donald Trump's non-emergency war against crime and homelessness.

“There’s no excuse for a child in our state to be hungry.” Yet, SNAP cuts signed into law in July will leave 300k South Carolinians without food assistance. We must ask: why are we making these cuts? Why are we giving up in the battle against hunger? charlestoncitypaper.com/2025/08/08/h...

Hunger still haunts S.C., generations later  - Statehouse

Just over a half century ago, one of South Carolina's most formidable political leaders toured some of the state's poorest areas and returned with a warning about one of humanity’s oldest scourges — h...

We had a great City, County, State Townhall in West Ashley last night. Thanks to all the folks who came out. Traffic congestion, sidewalks, traffic signals, and flooding were top citizen concerns. We will certainly plan more of these events around the district 👍

Heartbroken by the tragic loss of life in Texas. The campers, families, and rescuers along the Guadalupe River are in our prayers. This is a painful reminder: weather warning systems save lives. We must restore the National Weather Service.
