I've been called out for assuming the reader would automatically link a comment near the end of the last scene and where my characters are now. Will insert a few words to make it clear this is what has happened. #BookSky

After reading books where a single chapter could be one paragraph long and other books where chapters averaged 120 pages long, I've lomv since given up on believing a chapter has any real definition. In my own writing chapters are an arbitrary 4 scenes long. #BookSky

I'm seeing people doing a variety of tell the people out there who you are posts, and have decided to give it a try. No promises on how well I'll do but I do know nothing is going to happen if I don't show up. I don't remember a time I didn't want to tell stories and become a writer. #BookSky

I spent years not knowing how to fit my main character into the Hero’s Journey mythos. Then I heard about the Heroine’s Journey through Gail Carriger and it all clicked. Niv would never fit into the Hero’s Journey because he was a Heroine at heart. #BookSky

I continue my search of podcasts that feature guest who write indie science fiction as more than just a side show. All the science fiction and fantasy podcast I have found so far are so heavily tilted toward fantasy that the odd science fiction guest gets lost in the mix.

Yesterday's #AwesomeCharacters question has reminded me I should talk more about my characters in a wider sense. My hero, Nivpul Exavent falls into the romance category known as cinnamon roll who is understanding and easy to get along with even when things get tough. #BookSky

When Niv And June were told to take Konhor and flee Motherload they left behind Niv's family just as they were beginning to warm up to June, and of course, they left Grandfather Roggi still recovering from his stroke in a hospital bed. #AwesomeCharacters
