Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.

Israel blocks ambulances in the West Bank again. Shoots Palestinians, then seals off medical access so they bleed out and die. Deliberate. Sadistic. State policy. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🇮🇱🤬🤬🤬🇮🇱♾️

Traditional economics says governments are limited by money. Trump's war suggests otherwise. The problem isn't dollars. It's missiles, factories, skilled workers & supply chains. Money can organise resources. It cannot create them. Prof Richard Murphy explains

Traditional economics is wrong: Donald Trump has proved it

Conventional economics says that governments can only do what they can pay for. Trump’s war proves its not true

BBC Scotland is running a propaganda campaign pushing the idea that Scotland's cities - in particular Glasgow - need English style elected mayors. This is despite the Labour policy being comprehensively rejected in the Holyrood election. The colonial propaganda started in June.👇

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.

I was struck by a piece on Radio 4 the other day, asking whether Burnham would be more "pragmatic" - meaning "positive" - about drilling in the North Sea. It was simply taken for granted that drilling was the "pragmatic" option, while opposing it was dogmatic or ideological.

Wrote about the deafening silence on our summer of climate impacts from Labour, the Lib Dems, the Greens, business leaders, and even some campaign groups. The dominant climate discourse from the past week has been from those who want to ditch net zero targets and trash decarbonisation policies.

Nightmare charging our new non-Tesla EV at two West Midlands motorway services. We need: More chargers. More fast chargers. More reliable chargers. Card payment not multiple dodgy apps. More control on what operators are charging. Government action on all this to support greater EV adoption.

Sure, but it was never a question of whether she was right or wrong. All the MPs and the press knew very well she was correct, because they see it all the time. The point was that some insolent upstart tree-hugger had no business running her big yapping mouth, where the public can hear. The end.

!! 'MPs have had their stomachs pumped.'
Turns out Hannah Spencer was right when she said that Westminster's drinking culture is "unprofessional and worrying" and leads to "questionable and dangerous behaviour"
¿ It's time to end Parliament's drinking culture.

Since 1970, over 20% of the Amazon has been cleared — an area ~3x the size of the UK. In 2025, Brazil lost millions of hectares of natural forest, releasing 1.2 Gt of CO₂. Every tree felled weakens our fight against climate change and extreme weather. The field tells the truth.

1/3 Strip away the theatre and Reform UK is a billionaire-backed project to dismantle the public realm, shred regulatory protections and hand what remains of state power to capital. It’s plain to see – just follow the money.

AstraZeneca in talks with Bristol Myers Squibb on $400bn (£300bn) merger. Concentration of economic power. Bigger ability to hold people/govts to ransom. AstraZeneca CEO already threatened to withhold drugs from NHS unless it paid more. Govt capitulated. Promised UK investment didn't materialise.

These people were victims of online disinformation; told Spain had opened its borders, and they could go work there. Once they were told it wasn't true, they returned. A gift to the far right & we must find out who was behind what is a form of hybrid warfare, meant to destabilise Spain and the EU.

Very disappointing from the new Prime Minister, very much sounding like the previous PM. These are among the world’s most vulnerable and desparate people. They need safe routes and humanity from responsible politicians, not grandstanding. This isn’t doing politics differently.
