what he/him

with the way comicbook fans online talk about golden age superman, you'd believe he was reciting Marx quotes every second panel, but then you actually read the shit and in one of the first issues he solves the problem of a crime filled neighborhood with literally gentrification.

The reason why there are TASM2 defenders out there is that it genuinely has some great scenes when viewed in isolation. The problem is when you look at the bigger picture and realize that none of them connect to eachother in a satisfying manner that makes sense. It's less than the sum of its parts

I see Marvel Tokon as an absolute success no matter any PSN shenanigans or whatever because, most importantly, it got NSFW anime artists to finally draw black women

Hot take: I think cancel culture does exist, but it never impacts the people who most often complain about it, like disgraced Hollywood actors and Conservative figureheads. Rather, it most often affects niche internet personalities who come from marginalized groups.

It's really funny that throughout 2010s, mainstream shows used to make jokes about how gen z don't even know what vhs tapes are, and then the pandemic hit and analog horror became the biggest thing ever on the internet and now it's the biggest thing in theatres.

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

Lots of thinkpieces will be written about Supergirl's failure and explanations for how it happened by pretend-studio executives on the internet, but I think the problem was obvious in hindsight. Gunn always emphasized his focus on great scripts, but never about any other aspect of filmmaking.

Annnd it turned out that the creator behind this show is a Niсk Fuеntes fan who made merch for him. The most fascinating part is that it's, or at least was proudly displayed on his resume. What an unbelievably stupid idiot do you have to be to put groyper shit in your portfolio for employers to see
