Just saw art for my book, THE FLYING PILGRIM, illustrated by Blanca Millán.😍 A swallow, wondering why humans make this curious migration, flies the Camino backwards, asking different animals along the way to discover the answer. 2027 is a special Jubilee year for the Camino de Santiago... #kidlit

The cover for my forthcoming children's book LA GOLONDRINA PEREGRINA illustrated by Blanca Millán. It shows a blue-ish swallow flying above the title in a pinkish sky with white clouds, the bottom half shows Santiago de Compostela in the background and along the bottom four pilgrims who are hiking or bicycling along the Camino de Santiago. The pilgrims are a mix of gender-presentations and skin tones, wearing colorful clothes, some in shorts, others in long pants, all with backpacks and sun-protecting caps.
