I told my alma mater I wouldn't give a reunion gift if they caved to.or worked with the administration. They told me they wouldn't. I want my gift back. Now my kid goes to another of these schools. How'd I get so lucky to be tied to 2 of them?

The State Dept has consolidated its visa operations across Africa into regional hubs rather than continue to process applications in each country. Maybe they just decided to move the countries around, too? After all, it's just Africa. Who would notice? 🙄

Federal immigration officials announced Saturday they have deported former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Daniel Ogama Adongo. ICE said in a statement that Adongo overstayed his visa after the Colts waived him in 2015.

Nonprofit immigration legal aid orgs are folding bc the federal govt stopped paying them via grants that used to be paid as a matter of course. At a time when more people are being placed in proceedings & detention & need representation, the orgs that could do so for low or pro bono are closing.

USCIS approved my client's O-1 in June, and we never received the original approval notice. We emailed USCIS on 6/26 to have them send a duplicate to our office. Meanwhile the client traveled to the US & began work. Today, USCIS emailed that they are sending a duplicate. USCIS is broken.
