Whether it’s Carney in Ottawa or Danielle Smith in Alberta, anti-worker politicians are embracing authoritarianism instead of addressing the every day struggles of workers. Through my #BillC247, we’re going to give power back to workers and uphold the right to strike.
Through the Liberals’ repeated use of Section 107 of the Canada Labour Code, they are violating the Charter-protected right to strike and attacking workers’ ability to fight for a liveable wage.

Seeing the universal and well-earned outpouring of love for Stephen Lewis from media and political figures to the outright smearing of his son NDP leader Avi Lewis, who is carrying on the same fight for human rights and climate as his father, is a little jarring.

Our markets are open to the tune of purchasing $349 billion in goods from the U.S. in 2024. That's $8,400 per capita based on our population of 41.5 million. We exported close to $413 billion in goods to the U.S. That's a per capita rate of roughly $1,180 per American. Proportionately, we buy more!
I'm not sure why they think a country with a 10th of the US population will somehow save their country from their bad business decisions.
