If one can only learn this from books, what tf have I been getting from Hadestown for the past week? Yes, reading is important, but you can experience imaginative, thought-provoking emotional journeys through tv, video games, music, theater, comics, etc. Books aren’t inherently better in that way.

Heaven did wrong and Vox is using it as a means to keep people from wanting peace, instead wanting blood for blood, and eye for an eye

I wanna see Stolitz bicker like this more often. Not full-on fights, but snarky little passive-aggressive comments. Now that they’re living together, I wanna see them deal with the little annoyances of sharing a tiny-ass apartment—using maximum snark.
