You guys, the White House accidentally ordered 10x the amount of Porta-Potties that they needed. The lawn is just acres of Porta-Potties. It’s all fenced off and you can’t see, but I took this photo through a hole in the fence netting.

#OtD 2 Jun 1863 the Combahee River raid took place, Harriet Tubman led 150 Black Union soldiers. The only woman-led military operation during the American civil war. 750 slaves were freed and the estates of several slaveowners were looted and burned stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/9200...

The Puppet Union, at Open Eye, roasted Klobuchar last night in small bits as part of a larger, amazing display of comedic puppetry.

May 30, 2020 the socially distanced meeting at Powderhorn, where city council members pledged to abolish the MPD (too good to be true). We arranged ourselves geographically on the hill by where we lived. That moment, and many others, led to the extraordinary hyper local web that supports us now.

Amaze! The public space outside of Frgmnt coffee shop is so fun! And they let dogs into the large indoor space to get coffee! (though dogs probably shouldn’t have coffee). And swingy chairs!

May 16, the 1934 Minneapolis truckers strike began. Milk truck drivers were part of the strike, & my grandpa worked for Ohleen Dairy. He worked in the bottling process, & later became a delivery driver. Here is Ohleen Dairy in 1931, 2221 15th Ave So. Arrow points to Hilding. Building still there.

Elderdog helped me do a little gardening and got her Ecuador solidarity outfit a bit smutzi (Swedish for dirty). She has to wear a T-shirt and bandanna to protect her big baldy spots.
