The DOJ just lost its 13th straight case (against zero wins) in WV, in its attempt to seize sensitive voter data (DL, SSN, DOB) from the states. Of the 13 cases, 7 were decided by R judges, and FIVE of those were Trump appointees. This is an unprecedented record of defeat for the DOJ.

In a 5-4 ruling, SCOTUS upholds the rights of states to choose to receive mail ballots legally voted on or before Election Day if they are delivered by the USPS a few days later. Nothing in federal law prevents states from choosing to do so. Opinion by Barrett.
