People who make a video thumbnail like "I tried (thing you heard was good)..." with a face like they just swallowed a vomit cookie - but on the video say it is good I don't like you

Finally I’ll get the life I deserve! I never liked any of you pieces of shit
I have *no* idea whether the story of my game is easy or difficult to unravel. I have my suspicions but difficulty is in the eye of the beholder...? I don't know if this feeling is normal for every project or just your "first project". The Truth is Ghost twine I wrote years ago was very opaque!
These days people only know they're famous if an LLM fabricates something they said

Was just thinking about the ethics of creating an anti-AI game but including AI generated content for "authenticity" (In case anyone is worried, this is not in reference to Bivium.)
It is one day before I officially declare I've been working on a two week game project for a year. Good thing is there's only two weeks before I'm done, again
One thing I never did was a post-mortem of Sir. Perhaps this is as good a time and place as any to talk about some of that. It started in 2010 when Channel 4 had some money to spend on making educational games. For some reason they asked me. ->thread
In surprising computer game news: Sir, You Are Being Hunted finally made it to console, just fourteen years after release on PC. It's out now on Switch, PS5, and Xbox. (And Steam and GoG, of course.)
I've had a few big Bivium bugs to investigate. There was that passage which sometimes became so slow the browser locked up. But I've put off one that didn't seem important: my debug console is lost the first time I refresh the browser page. Inconsequential... or does it hide a sinister truth? 1/3

Promised myself not to read stuff like "how to write a narrative game" until Bivium's done because (a) I got enough twatty neurons firing off and demanding changes as it is (we should add flags, ok, +1wk well donne braiiin) but also (b) not interested in reading about all my mistakes while finishing
On reading this I was overcome with a dark vision that the future of cinema is 9:16 And every movie will be accompanied with staccato one-word subtitles MADE IT MA TOP OF THE WORLD
People bragging about seeing The Odyssey in IMAX and there's so much more picture, motherfuckers, IMAX aspect ratio is incredibly close to old fucking 4:3 television raetio that everyone rejected for the more movie-like 16:9, make it stop.
I have pulled myself away from gamedev at the moment because brain has melted into goo. Randomly installed Carceri. Primarily a first-person wanderer (okok walking sim) that has floaty jumping and has me thinking of Supraland.
Trigg & Gusset again, folks, but a track from 2024. Perfect Fifth is "one track we made for the upcoming game soundtrack 'Blue Prince', but later decided to release separately." Still, you can absolutely feel those familiar Blue Prince vibes permeating throughout:

Ten years ago they were probably selling wi-fi enabled "smart" salt cellars, inventing problems they had solutions for. It's not the end of the world, but you can see the IPO from here.
I’m so bored of the arrogance of these dunderheads; as though conning old golfers out of millions of dollars was a meaningful life skill. I bet this guy can’t even mash a potato
The game is out NOW! Go play it, and please consider giving us a steam review if you like it. It's the best way for the game to get visibility.
We've been very excited for this Type Help remaster, and today is the day! Check out Megan's review of The Incident at Galley House from @eviltrout.com and William Rous 👇
tfw I deliver a sarcastic comment just a little too straight & sound serious so bury myself in a shallow grave, thinking this is how my social life ends I even suffer flashbacks, years later, well done brain, good job
Seriously, I can't stop admiring the output of this bot. I've been to Granada at least five times, and every time, I vow I'm going to make a bot inspired by the mosaics in the Nasrid palace there. Finally managed it!
The only thing I like better in a heatwave than a restaurant with air conditioning that has its doors wide open, is a restaurant with air conditioning that has its doors wide open and air conditioning turned off.
For those of you who didn't know, like me, in April Trigg & Gusset released one of the best tracks from Blue Prince that was missing from the Blue Prince OST. Reclamation:

Current state of Bivium, July 4, 2026. I don't think I have any more tweaks to make to the layout - so this is likely to be what you see on release.
