The funny thing is I only learned about Carmilla recently, which is saying something because I've been reading vampire/werewolf media for decades, and I have no idea how I missed it. I mean, I get it, XKCD's lucky 10k and all that, but how tf did I miss book over a century old?

A question for the artists in the audience: Along with references, you find a readme file calling out character details that're on their reference sheet as well. Are you: - Happy; thanks the heads up! - Annoyed; this is all on your refsheet. - Or something else? Or are you even reading it?

As a thought: There's a very shitty feeling to discovering that someone's taken art you've commissioned, had someone else edit it in photoshop (and paid them to do it!) and is using it for their own stuff. Maybe don't fucking do that. JFC.

Aaaaa I was waiting for this to land on Bsky! 💖 El has been a werewolf for quite a while, but, especially when agitated, she has her slips - and those slips can result in her doing things she might have otherwise wanted to do~. Lucas did a gorgeous job with my girl. *That expression!* 🥰

The girls! El and her wife are *beautiful* here, caught up in a gloriously joyful dance. :D @amandamaclaren.bsky.social was a delight to work with, and beyond indulgent of my requests. Thank you again! 💖💖

This is a digital painting depicting two female lovers surrounded by aa rococo style gold frame and pink roses. The frame is adorned with bright crystals and a silver face right in the middle at the top. This face has bright turquoise eyes and horns that are two mirrored crescent moons. The roses are a soft pink, with bloody red veins running from within. The first character is a tall vampire lady with fair skin and pale blonde hair. Shes wearind a deep and bright blood red dress paired with gold jewelry. The same turquoise can be found on her accessories as well, in for os stament gems. She's holding the other figure by the small of her back, pushing her against her body and also pulling her gold necklace in a playful, loving way. She also has one of the pink roses in her hand. Now for the other OC, she has a darker complexion with a big tattoo on her back, and bright, beautiful yellow eyes that are hhalf closed looking at her lover. She's wearing a white dress with a brown corset; her legs are showing, and she has pretty lace stockings. She's also sporting gold jewelry and is holding her partner close. They're both looking at each other, smiling playfully. CHARACTERS BELONG TO @elerrah.bsky.social

The neverending quandary of: - Art of El in a context that exists in her everyday life (working in her lab, etc?) - Art of El getting utterly reamed within an inch of her life. (...These two options are *not* mutually exclusive.)
