Yes, vote blue no matter who. Not sure why some folks think this is some clever gotcha right now. It was true 25 years ago, true today. I've never wavered on it, regardless of my personal affinities. Some of the people snarking about it today certainly have tho. To our national detriment.

Hard to overstate the level of strategic failure. US started the war purely as a war of choice and ends up dramatically empowering Iran and given the Iranian govt big wins.
Yep. I've said much the same. It is false on it's face that "moderates can't win." or "centrists can't win." They win a lot and have done for decades. That is a fact of U.S. politics. Centrists, moderates, center right and far right. That is what dominates U.S. politics for the most part.

I know it's still too high, but if Trump can be kept in the mid 30s I guess that will have to be low enough. In a sane world he'd be in the 20s. But in a sane world he'd never have won an election, let alone the popular vote.

The reality is that you could remove all aipac money entirely, and it would not solve the underlying conflict. It would just provide momentary emotional gratification to those in the anti Israel contingent. Israel would still insist on it's own existence. Others would still want it not to exist.
