tbqh: I've noticed revealed preferences via APSA. When we offer a virtual option - whether tied to the annual meeting or our separate virtual one - folks don't take it. once people are plugged into virtual workshop series at their uni / for their area, they seem to have their needs met

wrapped up the last research-in-progress workshops with the 2025 political science DDRIG folks last week (they’re all doing fascinating, important research & you should follow them) I was pleasantly struck by how folks encouraged descriptive work as valuable and interesting in its own right (1/2)
