Being in the fire emblem fandom has made me realize a lot of adults out there are only nominally literate. They can read the words on the screen but if the info is meant to be inferred or isn't directly handed to them in x likes y fashion they literally do not grasp it.

I wish i could take the two cakes mentality, i have always cared about what others think in general and that is stopping me from things i want to do or draw.

You have to take HOLY SHIT TWO CAKES mentality, and seeing the forest through the trees. If you focus too much on what other people think, you’re just gonna bum yourself out
