He called those who did serve their country "suckers and losers." He skipped the centenary memorial for servicemen who died in WWI because it was drizzling. This is more than usually repellent.

Mike might have taken the Red Sox in this deal, getting their # 2, 4, 5, and 17 prospects, but only if they pan out or he flips them for proven talent. But the real story here is doesn’t believe in the team HE built and his aversion to trying to win.

Credit to him with how he handled it, how he dealt with awkward questions, how he owned it when he struggled. Can only imagine seeing him leave hurts Orioles fans

I didn’t believe for one second that Blanche wasn’t lying to the GOP senate holdouts to get their support, and I don’t believe they were taking a principled stand, they were just looking for cover to support him even after Trump knifed them.

In order to sleep tonight, I have decided Mike Elias won’t tear down the team because that would be a tacit admission that he has failed in building a contending Orioles club. I could be wrong, of course; he’s skilled at deflecting blame.
