I think you should at the very least address the issue if you want people to stop viewing it like that.

I still remember that moment in a grocery store, looking at the magazine rack, all the faces on the covers were white except for Oprah on the cover of “O” and for whatever reason it finally clicked, and I truly saw it and began the long road towards understanding.
