The biggest issue here — CAF only is allocated 4 automatic World Cup qualifying slots (with two additional play-in possibilities) while UEFA has ELEVEN.

We will be chatting about this Women's AFCON till the 2027 World Cup (as it also means no Zambia/Banda). Yes, games have been hard to find; poor marketing = fewer crowds. Add to the lack of support for play-by-play with confusion at the end of Zambia/Malawi. Players deserve more.

It’s an old story but I’m telling it again anyway Got to meet Maybelle Blair and Shirley Burkovic while shooting A League of their Own. They sat with us for lunch, told us all about their time in the league, and when they may or may not have broken curfew. It’s a moment I’ll continue to treasure
