I am feeling so unbelievably gaslit about Mother 1 cause everyone online described it to me as the most inscrutable difficult obnoxious game ever "oh its so old and difficult just skip to Earthbound!" and so far it has been the most Normal video game ever, how the hell did it get this rep??
