I went to a conference for HR managers about 6 months ago and a bunch were saying they are pivoting from chief people officers to chief people & AI officers, were building AI agents into their work processes, putting AI agents on their org charts, etc

This breaks my heart. This research project has been going on for 30 years and studying the long term effects of Type 2 Diabetes (a condition which >10% Americans have) and the effectiveness of various interventions. All because the the funding goes through Columbia on the way to the orgs running it
