I was part of this outbreak response. It was an insane amount of work. It’s also worth noting that states are not getting any financial support from the federal government for this! In a normal world, the feds would provide money to cover contractors, OT, etc. We had to pay for it ourselves.

El-Sayed: There is so much more that unites us, however much we might disagree with our democratic opponent, there is so much more that unites us than divides us. And so to all of our supporters here tonight watching on TV—tomorrow, we begin to mend fences.
