Definitely napped a bit too hard this afternoon and now can’t seem to get sleepy. I could take melatonin gummies, but then I’d be pretty likely worthless at the gym and morning work meetings.

I just think it’s adorable that they’ve turned him into one of those concrete porch geese and every month they’re going to trot out a new picture of him in a new little season-appropriate outfit smiling in the exact same wax museum pose.

Generative AI pictures (sorry, it’s to demonstrate how easily they’re likely doing the same) of Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao in monthly outfits in the style of porch geese.

It’s really stupid that I keep looking at trucks, but in my defense, my big dumb jeep is annoying the fck out of me right now.

Cat brought in a bat tonight and was wrestling it around the dining room before I managed to get it wrapped up in a blanket, carried outside and released. Of course, now I’m paranoid the cat got bit in the process.

Vacation is over tomorrow. Having the Sunday Scaries on a Friday night sucks. Apparently things have not been great at work while I’ve been gone.

Finally finished the chicken coop. And of course, instead of walking up the ramp and putting themselves inside at dusk tonight… the dumbasses piled themselves up in a corner of the run under the coop. Had to pick them up and shove them in the run, one by one.
