Peace Arch Park has long been known as a unique international park where visitors from both Canada and the United States could meet within the park without immediately passing through a traditional border checkpoint.

Happening now at Highlands Park, N.J. The 12-year-old daughter of Edwin Jovanny López Cornejo, a Salvadoran immigrant who died at Delaney Hall Saturday, spoke out about his death at a press conference Tuesday. She concluded by saying, "ICE Out!"

Yesterday in Humboldt Park, ICE goons pulled weapons on teenage activists Ben and Sam Luhmann. Just a month prior one had shoved 16-year-old Sam to the ground for legally filming their activities in Joliet, IL. The courage of these brothers is unmatched.

The white shoes symbolize the medical professionals who lost their lives while providing care. The installation was organized as a peaceful memorial and a call for greater protection of healthcare workers in conflict zones.

Safer air is not just about air filtration. Today I am going to service and clean the air conditioner. I haven’t used it in ages, so I’m getting it ready for summer. I don’t fancy starting it up and getting some fantastic fungus from it, or allergies if it’s dusty.

A very worrisome study showing just how prevalent multi-drug resistant E. coli bacteria are around the world! E. coli is one of the most common bacteria to cause human infections especially urinary tract, abdominal and blood stream infections (sepsis). Limited treatment options. Not good!

I’m intrigued by the recent resurgence of the ‘Long Covid is not real’ nonsense we saw back in 20/21. The refusal to learn is one thing, but the dismissal of reality is another. Long Covid is too painful, too common & too present in many people’s lives to be denied. The story is hard to rewrite.

We’ve been saying this for a while now many of the people being targeted are just fishermen. Evidence now supports that the United States has killed individuals who were not involved in drug trafficking during its “counternarcotics interdiction operations” in the Caribbean and Pacific.
