been playing through the Horde BFA story and just the action in this one cutscene really is leagues above anything going on right now (it's because everyone in this scene has buckets of aura and is likable!!) and it's funny because it's also trolls. but like. everyone on screen here is fun to watch

I do think it's funny that Blizz was allegedly scared of "orc fatigue" during WoD but I have insane amounts of elf fatigue and this is only patch 12.1.5
Here's another uncooked idea: what if Zul'jan had survived 12.1 as a willing prisoner, having absorbed Ula'teks power, but then he DID die in 12.1.5 instead of Liadrin, burning himself out while channeling Ula'teks power to seal Kith'ix, as that's what it was established to be FOR?

Again: the point of invasions is that they are heralding the season's villain, but the invasions arrive at the same time as the plot where you defeat that villain, and they are not narratively an active threat anymore, so still seeing ongoing invasions just feels bizarre
