BIG: Kansas just rejected a ballot measure that would have required state Supreme Court justices to be elected rather than appointed by the governor — dealing another setback to Republicans trying to overturn a decision that established a constitutional right to abortion.
Kansas Democrats have defied political gravity for eight years by holding the governor’s office in one of the country’s most reliably Republican states. Primary voters on Tuesday selected Cindy Holscher as the candidate to try to keep that seat in Democratic hands, according to The Associated Press.

Things I and friends have done to calm an angry abusive man from further escalating and killing us or our children: -Smiled -Kept normal schedules in order not to trigger a fight -Appeased with kind acts (cooking, cleaning, favors) -Forced friendly tones and words

Anyway, your problem isn‘t finding the time to take notes. The problem is that taking notes is thinking and thinking has to be done by someone. women have been doing a lot of metacognition that looks like a task when it’s really thinking.
