It's after I made this that I realised it's been a year since my 20-year-old cat brother passed away. Maybe this came from the wish to keep all those happy, precious memories safely bottled up, ready to be opened whenever I need them.

The thing about living on the east coast that I don't think I'll ever get used to is how its usually hot when it rains... my west coast soul misses a good 'ol Pacific cold front with low temperatures and cool rain. This high temperature, high humidity, sauna bullshit is nasty.
