I’ve unmasked a white nationalist fight club in my city: Montreal. After weeks of work (with help!), I can reveal an Olympian as a member of the Frontenac Active Club — one who, unbeknownst to the owners, brought them to a local gym for training and propaganda photos. Here’s my investigation:

The group Contract Worker Justice has been sounding the alarm about poor working conditions at @sfu.ca and heavy-handed management since COVID19 started in 2020. Metro Vancouver's living wage is $27.85 says BC Society for Policy Solutions, but not all workers earn it.

We've been telling SFU these contractors are bad actors for half a decade now. Admin's claim that food & cleaning services aren't core functions basically amounts to saying these workers are expendable. UBC, UVic, and UBCO employ service workers directly. When will SFU do the right thing?

I cannot sufficiently underline how despicable it is that the IOC has required Haitian Olympic athletes to remove an image representing the leader of the Haitian Revolution (against SLAVERY) from their uniforms.

MILAN (AP) — The troubled Caribbean country, Haiti, has fielded two athletes for the Milan Cortina Winter Games, and they will proudly wear Haitian symbols — although one less than intended after intervention by the International Olympic Committee. The skiers will compete in uniforms designed by Italian-Haitian designer Stella Jean that originally featured an image of Toussaint Louverture, the former slave who led a revolution that created the world’s first Black republic in 1804. The IOC ruled that the image violated Olympic rules barring political symbolism, requiring Jean to come up with a creative solution: painting over the nation’s founding father.
