I'll be giving a Keynote Talk @ #MICCAI2026 in Strasbourg. 🔥But did you know French mathematicians Meyer, Bakry+Émery invented the Gamma-calculus in Strasbourg ~50 y ago ? 🔥Come see how the Strasbourg group's Gamma-calculus governs diagnostic classifier accuracy as training data gradually comes in!

2⃣We deployed the normative models to global data on dementia, mild cognitive impairment with India-ENIGMA, Dr John P John @NIMHANS_BLR & 22q11.2 deletion syndrome with ENIGMA-22q, Dr Carrie Bearden @UCLASemel, detecting abnormalities in these brain diseases via model adaptation.

1⃣On average, FA reached maturity at the youngest age (mean=29.2 years), followed in order by RD (mean=35.8 years), MD (mean=41.7 years) and AD (mean=48.2 years). We found evidence supporting the ‘last-in, first-out’ hypothesis, for FA, MD and AD.

Fresh off the press🧠LARGEST lifespan normative modeling of brain microstructure charting white matter development and decline throughout life. Created using data from 54,583 individuals, 4–91 years, 19 cohorts! Congrats @juliovillalon.bsky.social! 📖https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-026-72875-x

We present the LARGEST normative model of the brain’s white matter microstructure: 54,583 subjects, 4-91 yrs, 19 datasets. We derived lifespan centile curves for DTI FA, MD, RD, AD, detecting anomalies for dementia, and Mild Cognitive Impairment: doi.org/10.1038/s414... ⤵️
