Ontario is facing a humanitarian crisis. People sleeping on sidewalks, open drug use, mental health crises happening in plain sight. And while this government finds billions for scandalous priorities and half-baked projects, communities are left begging for basic support.

Had a wonderful time visiting the Elgin-Middlesex-London PLA, chatting seniors support, homelessness, and rent control. I also had the chance to walk around downtown St. Thomas. I was not fully aware of your public art game, but I LOVE IT!
As you get older in Ontario, it feels like you have two options: try to stay in your own home for as long as possible, or move into long-term care. What if there were more? I believe in empowering solutions like seniors co-housing, so that they can age with grace:
This week I'll be in St Thomas on Wednesday and Waterloo on Thursday. Would love to see you there! luma.com/ericforolp
Had an insightful weekend meeting the Newmarket-Aurora community and joining the Education Matters Summit in Parry Sound. One thing that's clear: parents and educators around the province are frustrated with our system, and all want better outcomes. everyriding.ericforolp.ca
On July 23, Ontario Liberals from across southwestern Ontario met in London for a Meet & Greet with the officially registered Ontario Liberal Party leadership candidates: Lee Fairclough, Navdeep Bains, @ericlombardi.ca, and DylanMarando.
It was excellent to return to London to speak with Liberals about my vision for Ontario. We can own the future! everyriding.ericforolp.ca
Thanks to all @ontarioliberal.bsky.social Leadership Candidates for visiting #ldnont. A great event. www.ctvnews.ca/london/video... @navdeepbains.bsky.social @voteleefairclough.bsky.social @ericlombardi.ca #DylanMarando @stephaniebowman.bsky.social
I had an in-depth interview with @sudburystar.bsky.social. In it, I outline my ambitious agenda for Ontario’s north. This includes transport, Ring of Fire, municipal governance, addictions and homelessness, and my belief in creating a liberal politics that can be successful through the 2030s.
This week, I was in Sudbury. I met with disability advocates at Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin, visited Maison McCulloch Hospice, and ended the day at Science North speaking with local Liberals about how Ontario can still win.
It's time to take Electoral Reform seriously. We need a democracy where leaders are accountable to every citizen – one where every vote actually leads to more local representation. But I want to go even further in restoring our democratic culture:
Last night I visited Liberals in Kirkland Lake. The conversation was wonderful. I learned a great deal about what the community needs and came away with several ideas to add to my platform. I had some time at twilight to walk through the town centre. Let me explain why I find it so special. 👇
From this past weekend: Had fun joining the Markham Stouffville PLA for a BBQ. Got out canvassing with the Hamilton East-Stoney Creek Liberals ahead of a bi-election. And celebrating London Pride with the southwester Liberals. everyriding.ericforolp.ca
Goodies! While supplies last!
Upcoming events! This weekend I'll be canvassing in Hamilton in anticipation of the bi-election and celebrating London Pride. Heading up north for the week. Back for more events and an education summit on the weekend. Would love to see you there luma.com/ericforolp

I visited downtown London recently and the amount of people struggling with mental health and drug addictions was staggering. It's completely unacceptable that our leaders have allowed this to happen. We have failed so many people.
Families and communities across Northwest Ontario are being forced from their homes as wildfires spread. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, especially the First Nations communities on the front lines, and with the firefighters and first responders working around the clock to keep people safe.
Ontario’s economy has lost its edge. Productivity has stagnated, wages have fallen behind, and the cost of living has kept rising. Uncertainty from America has only made these challenges harder. If we want to build a more competitive economy, we have to do the hard work of reform:
Had a busy but fantastic day yesterday meeting with the Scarborough community at the party's leadership event, joining the Wellington-Halton Hills PLA at their social on the alpaca farm, and meeting the Perth-Wellington PLA at their campfire social. everyriding.ericforolp.ca
It was fantastic to join Carleton PLA on Saturday morning in Manotick for a wide-ranging discussion on the future of Ontario. It was incredible to see the engagement on issues, the desire for substance, and the optimism behind our common belief that Ontario Can Still Win!
More about my plan for housing reform on the latest episode of The Rent Report That includes: * A land value tax targeted at speculators * Removing development charges and land transfer tax * Building code reform so that we can build more and build beautifully 🔗: youtube.com/watch?v=Q2CogHv1fhE

15 years ago, the typical first-time homebuyer in Ontario was 31. Today, they’re over 40. For a generation of young Ontarians, the ladder wasn’t climbed, it was pulled up on them. That’s why I’m committed to restoring The Dream Of Homeownership Before 35. Here's how www.youtube.com/shorts/evf6A...
Ontario Liberals are being cheated by a system that's left them third in seats twice in a row despite winning the second most votes. It is time the party takes electoral reform seriously. Great to see @ericlombardi.ca call for a binding citizens' assembly!

Ford has pushed through a takeover of Billy Bishop with 0 transparency. Maybe the airport should be expanded. Maybe it should stay how it is now. Maybe it should be closed and turned into parkland. The truth is, we cannot know, because the gov't has refused to show its work.
Last night, I celebrated Pride with the Toronto Centre PLA, with a fantastic reception hosted by Kathleen Wynne, a trailblazer for our community. Always lovely to bump into the wonderful Kathryn McGarry and MP Anthony Housefather too.
Last night, I attended Nate’s farewell to federal politics. @nateforontario.bsky.social can really fill a room. His speech was a reminder of his talent, and of why he is so loved in Beaches–East York.
