How is the parking lot for ONE Burger King bigger than the parking lot for a combination Taco Bell/Wendy’s? Make it make sense here.

Fan of all types of weird media. Basically anything my mom wouldn’t like. He/Him.
y’all aren’t prepared for the influx of “the Mike Myers movie wasn’t that bad” takes when the new Cat in the Hat movie drops
"You say you like waffles? So you must hate pancakes! You bigot!" "You say you like waffles? Clearly, you share the heinous views of the creator of waffles!" "Your praise of waffles seems disingenuous to me. I don't think you really like waffles as much as you want us to believe."
Coyote VS Acme was a really fun time. Some of the animation was iffy, and the main conflict got resolved a bit too abruptly, but Forte and Cena do a great job, and there are a bunch of laughs to be had. In any case, it's a miracle this got released.
At the theater, about to see Coyote Vs. Acme. Whatever my thoughts are on it, it's great that this got released at all, considering the circumstances.
The internet use to be a place where you'd say things arbitrarily. You'd go "Soup is Good", & it'd fade into the Aether. Now you say that & people go "What did he MEAN by this?" because they changed the label, & the company that sells it was found to use orphan tears as ingredients or something.
A V/H/S film distributed by A24. Never thought I’d see the day.
Inspired by the SCP Foundation, V/H/S: SCP will release in theaters in 2027 from A24. The film will be framed as “recovered field documentation, or video evidence gathered, redacted, and archived by the secretive organization."
The Fresh Meat voting period is over. Wonder when they’ll announce the shorts that got selected. Honestly, whatever shorts appear on the film, we’re bound to have a great assortment of talent and quality. Even the worst case scenario for this doesn’t look that bad.
So Drew Gooden has some stuff on Tubi, but the curses are censored. Like who below the age of 18 are going to watch Drew Gooden on Tubi, instead of YouTube?
There is no better way to not support something you know you won't like than just saying nothing about it. No acknowledgment of its existence. Just absolute ignorance.
When you just now realize that you’ve had a certain word in your "muted words" list misspelled all this time.

Having seen all the trailers for these, a lot of the shorts look really good. I’d say my favorites are Ascent, His Date, Hillcrest, Lights Camera Carnage, Tchotchke, and Indian In A Box, although I’m down to see pretty much any of these.

It’s quite fitting that I watched BUDDY the day of Adult Swim’s 25th anniversary, with the director having work on several AS stuff.
Casper Kelly has done it again. His trademark craziness is toned down a bit, but is still there in spades. Great acting from everyone involved. Casper might just have put himself alongside Zach Cregger and Curry Barker as comedy writers that can do legit horror.
Really taken aback by how crowded my showing for BUDDY is. I know Too Many Cooks was a big thing, but I didn't expect this movie to be so popular. Not complaining, though. It means people are showing my man Casper some respect.
At the theater, about to see BUDDY. Looking forward to seeing what madness Casper Kelly brings to the big screen.
Watch Mad God on Shudder. Check out Mad Dreams and Monsters as well, a vast great book about the work of Tippett.
Legendary FX animator Phil Tippett is shutting down his studio, which has gone bankrupt 😥 A memorabilia sale is being held this weekend, featuring four decades of production items (Mad God, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, RoboCop, Starship Troopers...). www.berkeleyside.org/2026/08/27/s...
Dolly Parton and Tim Curry were both profoundly kind, curious, and generous. It can seem maudlin to say that entertaining others is a higher calling, but they truly proved it was. At the heart of both their lives was a single message: "Love yourself."
RIP, Tim Curry. My all-time favorite actor. Just made absolute magic out of every role, big or small, no matter how preposterous some of his characters must've looked on paper. So many of my favorite films featured him, and they were my favorite films *because* of him. Legend!! 💔
We have very few truly nice, selfless celebrities, and now we have one less. I've always said, "We'll know it's the end of the world when Dolly Parton, Weird Al Yankovic and Conan O'Brien all die at the same time." I'm going to be nervously watching those other two these next few days.
My mom doesn’t like country music or female balladeers (Adele, Whitney, the like). Dolly was the one exception to both. Truly an icon.
It’s not enough that they had to LIE about the wide release of Camp Miasma. Now I find out that there might not be any showings near me that will gel with my mom’s schedule. My most anticipated film of the year yet, and I won’t even get to see it in theaters.

The V/H/S franchise might have the weirdest set of directors I've seen. Radio Silence Kate Siegel Adam Wingard Gareth Evans Justin Long RZA Scott Derrickson Flying Lotus Casper Kelly Tobias Forge Ernest Dickerson
I don‘t really have many moments where someone on the ‘net got mad at me. I guess the "biggest" example was when the movie Frogman released it‘s trailer, and I voiced my confusion at why the protagonist was using a VHS camcorder even though it takes place in 2019.
I posted a character design tip on twxtter last year, and several ppl replied “stop telling me how to draw!” 🙃
Western Animation critics like to complain about The Simpsons and SpongeBob going on for decades. Meanwhile, Japan has a bunch of cartoons that have aired since as early as the 60's, with no end in sight. And I'm not talking about franchises, either. I'm talking about single shows.
Devastating. Tom Savini is a film industry legend. Give if you can, and/or share.
