"What did he do to deserve to be murdered, to be left cold, on the ground, dead, my child? What did he do? ... they don't care ... I expect an apology. Why shouldn't we get one?" -- Alex Pretti's mom

"I was not shocked that he helped somebody. My shock is that he was murdered. And no one has given us the complete truth or anyone has been held accountable. And it's been 7 months! ... there was more effort in vilifying him than pursuing justice" -- Alex Pretti's parents

"We watched it on TV. And it's like, 'That's our son. That's Alex. And they killed him' ... trying to help someone" -- Alex Pretti's dad

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.
