My new place is great because it looks haunted as fuck on the outside without any of the downsides of a haunted house on the inside (i.e., it isn't old, drafty, dirty, poorly insulated, and full of strange noises).

Okay, now that I'm settled into my new place (which I love!), I want to organize the Twin Cities horror and Weird fiction writers hangout. Maybe a little Powderhorn Park picnic potluck/hang if the weather is nice? Or a cafe or brewery if it's nasty out? Chime in, TC folks. What ya think?!

The evil (Fever and specifically Sophie Cunningham) has been defeated. Go Lynx! Courtney and Olivia in particular killed it. (But also, gotta give it up for Kelsey Mitchell. She's fuckin' wildly talented.)

I enjoyed The Odyssey quite a bit! Some great effects work (the Circe portion especially), a few standout performances (Page, Nyong'o, and Pattinson), and engaging pacing for a three-hour movie.

Combing through Cursed Morsels submissions and seeing a new-to-me writer with no social media presence used to be an exciting experience--like, "Ooh, a talented mystery person!"--and it's STILL exciting, but AI paranoia has become my initial reaction. Kinda sad!
