Pro Evolution Soccer 5 was released on this day in 2005 🗓️ By Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo. Available on PC, PS2, PSP and Xbox. Released elsewhere as World Soccer Winning Eleven 9. Considered by many to be the best football game of all time. What are your opinions and memories of PES 5?

How the media frames the protests in France (“unbridled violence” and “carnage” vs “rallies” and “protests”, for example) can shape the way the rest of the world feels about them.

Jacqui Lambie is not my preferred candidate but I am 100% convinced she does her best, and turning up is more than half the job. Turning up while in agony? Nope. Look after yourself, woman. Hanson mocking her is despicable. Toxic c***. #auspol
Kon Karapanagiotidis@kkarapanagiotidis.bsky.social · 4d agoStill shaking my head in disgust that #Pauline #Hanson #OneNation did this to Jacqui #Lambie.

I think Tori Tumeth should be a guaranteed starter for the Matildas #NoToriNoParty
Genevieve Henry@eviefootball.bsky.social · 6d agoWho are the Matildas that need to be guaranteed starters? No nuance. Simply the only option if fit. For me, it's Kerr, Carpenter, Cooney-Cross, Wheeler, and Fowler.

I’ve been waiting for years to do this podcast intro 😭 #NoToriNoParty also includes discussion of the new Central Coast Mariners club 🍻, some predictions that will probably be wrong, a stadium with nominative determinism, and a tale of emotional blackmail
